Trying to find the balance

Had a follow-up visit with primary care and got a referral to rheumatology. This process of trial and error for food intolerance discovery is exhausting, both mentally and physically. A moderately robust regimen of prednisone had me feeling SUPER for the first few days (was able to get 10 miles of runs in on that week!), on the highest doses, which has gradually faded during the requisite taper. Yesterday was a good day because I stuck to eating foods that I know are safe for me to eat, but once this course of steroids is done I won't have anything to buffer or mitigate reactions to whatever food my body thinks is a threat.
So I am avoiding the things that I now know are issue:
apples
eggs
dairy of all kinds and animals
tomatoes
pistachios
bacon
all booze
bottled lemon or lime juice (I suspect the preservatives in)
